When I think about the California Villages difference one word that comes to mind is "Forefront". As the Vice President I am actively engaged (with my management team) in seeking out programs and processes that put us in the forefront of apartment living in Southern California. For our residents that means we are one of the few communities that offer 21sl Century payment options such as Credit cards, ACH and late payment forgiveness. We are committed to children's programming which includes holiday celebrations, good student recognition and summer rent credits. We are relentless in our campaign to keep our community Crime and Drug Free. Finally, we work daily to maintain properties with "condo" quality amenities such as granite counters, custom colors and energy efficient appliances. In Summary, the California Villages Difference means being in the forefront of apartment industry innovation and technology, studying what's working and what is not in an effort to provide our residents with the most optimal apartment living experience possible.

It is my goal to make California Villages the best possible home for you. Whether this is your first apartment home or your 30th I want you to say" this is the best". A home not only where you can be proud of your stylish apartment, but where you will receive excellent service from a professional staff who takes pride in the service they provide.

My commitment to being the best is accomplished by paying attention to four things.
Staff, Safety, Service and Fun. Here is how we accomplish that goal:

  1. First is the staff that we employ. Our Team Members are regularly trained and supervised so that they remain at the top of their profession. They are both professional and caring. They are the best apartment professionals that you will find anywhere.

  2. Your safety is important. We are committed to maintaining a Crime Free Drug ree Community. Our Management Team enrolls each year in training programs provided by the police department. We screen new applicants to be sure they will make good neighbors and we enforce our community rules and regulations.

  3. Our Service Works Commitment to you is to keep your apartment community fresh and clean on a daily basis and to respond promptly to service requests within your apartment. We inspect each apartment two times a year to be sure those safety devices such as smoke alarms are functioning correctly and that there is no deferred maintenance issues in your apartment.

  4. Living at California Villages is fun. Our resident parties, garage sales, and promotional events provide everyone an opportunity to have some fun and meet their neighbors. You may win tickets to a Dodger game or a gift certificate for back to school shopping just by paying your rent on time. Our monthly newsletter lets you know the most recent events and we are always pleased to just have the opportunity to say hello.

Each day I work with our Team Members to address and solve your concerns on an individual basis. Making your experience unique is what the California Villages Difference is all about. It is our goal and our passion!

Carlos Moran, Vice President of Property Operations

As the Vice President of Property Operations, my focus is ServiceWorks – a commitment to turning out 100% defect free units for our new residents and the best repair program in the industry for our existing residents.  We accomplish these goals by making sure that our Maintenance Team is properly staffed, thoroughly trained and well supervised.  While our competitors are reducing their maintenance staffs, we have not and will not reduce our ServiceWorks Commitment.  I am at our Community Sites each and every day.  I personally am available to respond to difficult problems.  I work with our Maintenance Team members to make sure that they have the resources to get their jobs done quickly and correctly.  We do not depend on outside vendors, so you get prompt and excellent service.

Our maintenance Team is on call 24 hours a day seven days a week for emergencies.  This is our ServiceWorks Commitment!  Service, quality, cleanliness—these all are our goals and we deliver.  This is the California Villages Difference for me!

Jose Cuevas, Lead Maintenance

My difference is that you have a qualified professional Maintenance staff that you can count on 24 hrs a day.  We apply our talents to efficiently perform all maintenance tasks “big or small”.  Our performance is monitored by maintenance satisfaction cards given out to our residents after maintenance repairs.  I feel proud of myself when hearing the compliments and the appreciation expressed by my residents.  It feels good to know that your hard work and dedication to your craft has not gone in vain.
